Microphone App · Last updated: April 21, 2026
Microphone App is a simple audio pass-through utility for iOS. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.
The app requests access to your device's microphone solely to route audio in real time to your chosen output device (speaker, headphones, or Bluetooth). Audio is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Specifically:
The only value persisted on your device is your gain (volume) preference, stored locally in the app's sandbox via iOS standard storage and never transmitted off-device.
The app uses no third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, or analytics libraries. It relies solely on Apple's built-in iOS frameworks (AVFoundation, SwiftUI).
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
